无锡电子工业在党的十一届三中全会以后,特别是“六五”以来,加快了发展步伐,改善了电子企业的生产条件,提高了产品的质量水平和技术水平,拓宽了市场,开创了持续稳定、蓬勃发展的新局面。“六五”期间,全市电子工业总产值累计达37亿元,主要经济技术指标也有显著提高:1985年全市电子工业总产值为12.8亿元,比1980年增长近三倍;上交税利1.37亿元,比1980年增长近五倍;电子行业共有4个产品获国家金质奖、10个产品获国家银质奖,35个产品获部、省优质产品奖。
