政党自律是政党为实现党的政治目标,维护和拓展公共利益,以党的规则约束党员的行为。新加坡人民行动党以务实主义和公平公正为分目标,促进该党服务国家、造福民众的核心目标的实现。在实现党的政治目标的过程中,该党以道德约束和动员激励的方式增强党员的精神约束,以制度约束和纪律约束的方式加强党员的规则约束。人民行动党还通过中央执行委员会成员的党内选举、领导党支部的工作、严格遴选社会人才的方式加强党的组织运作,维护和增加社会民众的利益。
Self-discipline of political parties is the party’s behavior of restraining party members in order to achieve the party’s political goals, safeguard and expand the public interest. The Singapore People’s Action Party targets pragmatism and fairness and justice and promotes the realization of the party’s core goal of serving the country and benefiting the people. In the process of realizing the political goals of the party, the party enhanced the spiritual restraint of the party members by means of moral restraint and mobilization of encouragement, and strengthened the restraint of the party members by way of institutional restraint and discipline restraint. The People’s Action Party has also strengthened the operation of the party’s organization and maintained and increased the interests of the general public through the party’s internal election by members of the Central Executive Committee, the leadership of the party branch, and the strict selection of social talents.
