我场自1976年开始引种栽培油橄榄,山地定植261株。1977年,以英明领袖华主席为首的党中央粉碎“四人帮”反党集团后的第一个春天,又营建油橄榄品种园34亩,定植442株。我场职工怀着对敬爱的周总理无比崇敬的心情,对油橄榄精心培护管理,认真开展科学实验,栽植的油橄榄目前长势良好。1976年定植的现存247株,保存率94.2％;平均高已1.59米,最高2.27米;离地20厘米处平均茎粗2厘米,最大3.1厘米,其中部份已定干修剪过。品种园固定植时间短,尚未调查统计。 总结引种试栽的实践,在栽培技术措施方面,我们主要抓了下面几条:
