With the development of human society， people occupy more space and involve in broader activities. As a result， wildanimals’ home has beengraduallyeroded andtheir normalmigrationis alsodividedby the developedtraffic paths of people. Their living environment is gradually fragmented and the population decreases dramatically.
　　The origin， development， decline anddisappear of biological species in the nature will go through a long process. The rate of formation and extinction of species will basically reach a balance. But human beings are taking more from nature， thus ecologicalresources are exhausted and overwhelmed， meanwhilethis also interferes the living condition of wildlife.
　　At the end of the 20th century， the Chinese government launched a rescue project for 15 kinds of endangered wildlifetargetingendemic， critically endangered species and species whose population has decreased dramatically. Among these species， China’s endangered mammals are the focus of this project for the scientists.
