榕树生命力特强,有些现象特怪,着实令人百思不得其解。现作“趣闻”列出,以求甚解。其一:十几年前,我曾在附近海岛山顶上约6米高的航标顶发现一棵奇特的榕树。说它奇,是它高高在上,长在由水泥和花岗石砌成的航标顶部西侧,没泥没水,也没榕根落地入土。它靠什么支撑生命呢?何况还得时常面对骄阳酷晒、台风肆虐。说它奇,是它长势特旺,黑绿的叶丛密密麻麻、叶片又厚又亮,特多的棕色气根
