包头市前市长牛玉儒为了招商引资,喝下客商敬上的一大杯酒,签下协议,事后难受得一晚无法入睡(《光明日报》2004年11月28日第3版)。这是我知道的为了公众经济利益被迫喝酒的最高级别的官员。还有一位大名人为个人事业被迫喝酒。有一篇报道引用了阳光文化网络电视有限公司主席杨澜的一段话:“我过去不怎么喝酒,但是后来可以为了个广告去喝。”(《武汉晚报》2004年4月27日第7版)至于基层干部,被逼喝酒而醉死者,近年来公开报道的不下十多起。
