The UN World Women’s Trends and Statistics Report 2015 released on 20 October 2015 shows that today there are more 62 million more males in the world than females and 72 in the world and 68 in males. Statistics from Shanghai in 2014 also show that the average life expectancy of people in Shanghai is 82.29 years, 84.59 for women and 80.04 for men. All in all, the average life expectancy of women in both the world and Shanghai is 4 years higher than that of men. From this perspective, men are not necessarily “strong men.” Therefore, while vigorously promoting the health of women, we must pay enough attention to the health care and promotion of men.
