According to Saudi Arabian news, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) issued an announcement that its Kemya joint venture with Exxon Mobil (Kemya) will start commercial production of butyl rubber. Saudi Basic Industries also claims that polyurethane elastomers and halogenated butyl rubber have also begun trial production. Kenma Factory from Saudi Basic Industries and Exxon Mobil
