喷灌是一种先进的灌水技术,对各种旱作物有显著的增产省水效果,这已为大量试验所证明,并在生产实践中广泛采用。水稻的需水特性与旱作物不同,是否也可采用喷灌?其喷灌的效益如何?怎样通过喷灌来促进水稻的高产?是值得重视和研究的一个问题。早在1968年,江苏省常熟县白茆公社的贫下中农就开始了这方面的尝试,他们和水电部科研所的革命技术人员相结合,在淹灌的同时掌握适当季节对水稻进行喷灌,取得了每亩增产100斤的显著效果,1968~1971年连续四年的增产幅度为3.4~30%(见表1)。
Sprinkler irrigation is an advanced irrigation technology, a variety of dry crops have a significant increase in water-saving effect, which has been proved for a large number of experiments, and widely used in production practice. The water requirement characteristics of paddy rice are different from those of dry crops. Can sprinkler irrigation be used as well? How is the benefit of sprinkler irrigation? How to promote the high yield of rice by sprinkling irrigation? It is a problem that deserves our attention and research. As early as 1968, the poor and under-aged peasants in Baicheng commune, Changshu County, Jiangsu Province, started their attempts in this respect. They combined with the revolutionary technicians of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Electric Power to grasp the irrigation season in a proper season while sprinkling irrigation on rice. The increase of 100 pounds per acre significant effect, from 1968 to 1971 for four consecutive years of yield increase of 3.4 to 30% (see Table 1).
