山东黄岛发电厂地处山东省青岛市西海岸的青岛经济技术开发区,现有职工1718名,其中党员455名。目前全厂有两台国产12.5万千瓦机组,两台前苏联进口21万千瓦机组,总装机容量为67万千瓦,主要供应青岛市区和经济技术开发区用电,是山东电网主力电厂之一。近几年来,该厂党委大力加强党的建设和精神文明建设,充分发挥党组织在两个文明建设中的作用,有力地促进了创建一流电力企业工作的深入开展。企业年年都超额完成出口任务,年年都有新发展。1996年完成发电量46.96亿千瓦时,创出了连续安全运行513天的好成绩。今年各项工作又创出新水平,
