针对科技期刊参考文献文中标注存在的随意性，对顺序编码制的文中标注、顺序编码制和著者-出版年制两种制式交互、混合或双重标注以及仅著录文后参考文献，文中参考文献不标注或缺项标注等问题进行了分析。认为，一种刊物应选择一种制式；采用顺序编码制时，应尽可能在编辑界达成基本共识的前提下，力求统一、规范；文后参考文献与文中标注应一一对应。
