澳大利亚南部滨海城市阿德莱德,一座被青草地环绕的小城,在1997年北京金秋时节,以南半球特有的浓浓春意,成就了一次亚太地区零售商盛会。在这里隆重举行的第八届亚太区零售商大会暨展览(ARCE),是亚太区零售商联合会(FARA)每两年一次的重要民间交流活动。自1983年在日本召开首届ARCE会议起,FARA已先后在汉城、香港、马尼拉、吉隆坡等地举办过7届。本次会展使日本、马来西亚、新加坡、韩国、澳大利亚、新西兰等12个FARA成员国和地区的2000名零售商、政府官员、信息技术厂商沐浴在零售业新理念与信息新技术的春风中。
Australia’s southern coastal city of Adelaide, a grassy town surrounded by a small spring in Beijing in the autumn of 1997, the unique spring of the southern hemisphere, the achievement of a retailer event in the Asia Pacific region. The 8th Asia Pacific Retailers Conference and Exhibition (ARCE), which is held here, is an important non-governmental exchange event every two years held by the Federation of Retailers in Asia Pacific (FARA). Since 1983, the first ARCE held in Japan, FARA has held in Seoul, Hong Kong, Manila, Kuala Lumpur and other places held seven sessions. The exhibition brought 2,000 retailers, government officials and information technology vendors from 12 FARA member countries and regions including Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand to battling the new concept of retail and information technology.
