1974年,他出生在云南省嵩明县一户普通农民家庭。中学毕业后,他考入了县职业技术学校,学习厨师专业。技校毕业那年,他没去当厨师,而是进了一家叫做“云南阳光”的蔬菜公司,成了一名送菜员。工作很辛苦,早起晚归,没明没夜,但他干得很起劲,每天凌晨3点,他就要起床,在超市和酒店开业前把最新鲜的菜送到那里。一年后,因为工作表现突出,他被调到大棚基地做了一名种植人员。大棚基地公司请来了十几位蔬菜种植专家和农学博士,专门指导员工们的蔬菜种植。好学的他抓住这个机会,虚心学习,经常向这些专家请教,掌握了不少蔬菜种植的技术。
In 1974, he was born in an ordinary peasant family in Songming County, Yunnan Province. After graduating from high school, he was admitted to the county vocational and technical schools, learning cook professional. He graduated from that year, he did not go to the chef, but into a company called “Yunnan Sunshine” vegetable company, became a foodservice member. Work is very hard, get up early and late, no night, but he worked hard, every day at 3 am, he will get up, in the supermarket and the hotel opened before the freshest vegetables sent there. A year later, because of outstanding performance, he was transferred to the greenhouse base to be a cultivator. Greenhouse base company invited a dozen vegetable planting experts and agronomy Ph.D., dedicated staff to guide the cultivation of vegetables. Studious he seized this opportunity to humbly study, often consult these experts, mastered a lot of vegetable cultivation techniques.
