The molybdenum aluminophosphate uranium mine was one of the seven uranyl phosphate minerals discovered by M. Deliens et al in 1977 in the Cobo-Cobalt pegmatite oxidation zone of the Kivu Province of Zaire, tentatively called “Mineral G” . Now after detailed study, the Belgian mineralogist Jules Moreau named moreauite. The other six have published research data, which were respectively translated as: Phuralumite Ⅰ, Upalite Ⅲ, Ranunculite Ⅲ, Mundite Ⅳ, Triagulite Phosphate uranium mine Ⅰ (Threadgoldite). According to the nomenclature of our country’s new committee on nomenclature of minerals and minerals, moreauite is translated as molybdenum aluminum uranium.
