魔芋人工栽培,单产高,受益快,产品畅销国内外,对振兴山区农村经济已显示重要作用,但要发展魔芋生产,必须做好魔芋的贮藏保种工作。我县芋农在长期的生产实践中成功地总结了就地越冬保种、地窖贮藏、土坑保种、室内保温贮种等保种方法。 1.就地越冬保种。是指当年不收挖魔芋球茎或根状茎而留在地里自然越冬。这种贮藏保种方法最安全、最经济,可以减少挖种时的损伤和贮藏中的腐烂损失。具体做法抓好如下四点:①在植株枯萎之前,每亩用15担腐熟人粪尿或5公斤尿素兑水淋蔸一次,以使植株枯萎之后仍能促使地下球茎继续膨大。②植株自然倒苗以后,立即用稻草、茅草、树叶等覆盖全
