中日两国有着2000余年的交往史,但近代两国真正意义上的交流始于十九世纪七十年代。1870年,明治新政府成立伊始,即派外交代表柳原前光来中国,游说清政府与其订约通商。次年,两国代表在天津签订《中日修好条规》和通商章程,标志着正式建立外交关系。 China and Japan have more than 2,000 years of exchanges, but the real exchanges between the two countries began in the 1870s. In 1870, at the very beginning of the establishment of the new Meiji government, diplomatic representative Liu Yuan was sent to China to persuade the Qing government to make contracted trade with it. The following year, the representatives of the two countries signed the “Regulations for the Revision of Sino-Japanese Relations” and the Articles of Association of Commerce in Tianjin, marking the official establishment of diplomatic relations.
