我国是农用耕地资源、淡水资源严重缺乏的国家之一,随着工业化进程的加快、大规模工业开发和服务的快速发展,加剧了土地和淡水资源的消耗,但收获甚微。目前在吉林省白城地区试种的改良盐碱地的抗盐耐贫瘠高效植物——菊芋新品种的开发和规模化种植,对于促进东北盐碱地的集约化改造,提高盐碱土地的利用率,改善盐碱地生态环境具有积极作用,同时还将带动耐盐植物产品的生产、加工、包装、保鲜、贮藏、运输等相关产业链的发展。
