Concrete Diversion Weir at the top of the spill is an effective, economical and good way to dissipate energy. The authors propose amendments to the guidelines on the size of water distribution teeth and other related projects. At the dam spill, care needs to be taken to ensure safety and to dissipate energy in a controlled manner. Otherwise, large-scale and uncontrollable erosion will occur downstream of the river. One of the most commonly used methods to eliminate this water is the jetski. However, this method is expensive to build. Moreover, recent findings show that this energy-dissipating method is often used when there is a significant energy dissipation problem with a drop of more than 50 m between the reservoir water level and the tail water level.
