F_1和F_2抽穗期一般表现负向部分显性或完全显性,且同双亲抽穗期高度相关(0.8935,0.9477)。F_2抽穗期多为偏态分布(偏早分布),也有晚熟个体比例高的组合。由于自交,F_2抽穗期的平均显性度下降,因而同双亲抽穗期相关更密切。早熟性同株高无关,而同冻害、感病性和粒重有关,但都有可供选择的类型。通过选择、培育,有可能把早熟同年矮杆、耐寒、抗病和丰产等性状结合起来。
