Last year, great advances were made in the application of new instruments and techniques to geophysical prospecting, which until recently were only in development. Most notable are tape recording and speed logging, both of which have been contributed as commercial services. The application of tape recording can make seismic interpretation of a great flexibility; automatic time correction, contribute to the composition and seismic profile of the production. And, seismic records are used when they are stored in a form that can be reproduced in a form that is suitable for later development of new methods of record keeping. Segment velocity logging enables geophysicists to better understand wave sources reflected from complex formation profiles. This understanding can make the interpretation of reflection records more realistic and will finally enable the mapping of mapping geology and tectonic features to be possible. Notable achievements in the prospecting of the earthquakes in 1955 include new methods of seismic wave occurrence, new trends of signal and noise ratio improvement, and application of high-frequency technology in petroleum exploration. Although the current research on petroleum geophysics is more focused on seismic techniques than other geophysical methods applied to petroleum exploration, there are also important developments in metallogenic exploration and engineering geology. For example, γ logging provides information on the density Of the data is sufficiently reliable to interpret the gravity; Polarized Insects have successfully found groundwater, and aeromagnetic measurements have been widely used in Canada to search for cheap metalloids. A new aeromagnetic magnetometer using nuclear magnetic resonance in the western United States has been used for iron ore exploration. This equipment is particularly suitable for light aircraft. At present, the rapid improvement of geophysical prospecting techniques is attributed to the acceleration of geophysical research in the oil industry after the Second World War and the achievement of basic scientific research and the general dissatisfaction among geophysical personnel with the state of the art.
