我国是一个文明古国,名山大川也举世闻名。在名山中文物古迹数不胜数,其中铜亭,也叫金殿、金顶、金阙更是金属文物的瑰宝。 我国铜亭多数是明清两代建造的。建造较早,保存最好的是明代永乐14年(公元1416年),在武当山天柱峰顶端建造的铜亭,也叫金殿、金顶。该亭高5.54m,长4.4m,宽3.15m,一律用铜合金铸造而成。建筑风格仿木制结构,重檐迭脊,脊上装饰着仙人禽兽,形象
