在农村初中,尽管英语教学已受到普遍重视,教学质量也在不断提高,但农村初中英语教学现状令人担忧,学生学了几年英语,到头来耳听不懂,口不能言,两极分化严重,语言运用能力极差,导致了教学质量的严重滑坡,英语教学出现了严重危机。英语组通过确立课题,组织实施,课堂实践与探究,以学生为主体,通过合作学习、自主互助的形式在英语教学上取得了较好的成绩,可以作为其他农村学校的借鉴。
