With these thoughts, he wrote “a small history of Chinese thought.” This paper points out that this “small history of Chinese thought” not only reveals his thinking but also exposes his flaws. Although this book can not be regarded as a masterpiece, it is an academic history that is a study of the history of Chinese thought in the 20th century A thin page in the process
