最近,一些报刊、电视台为配合《道路交通安全法》的实施而开展的交通整治专项行动特意开辟了“交通违法曝光台”栏目,将由公安交警部门提供的违反交通管理法规者的姓名、车牌号、违法原因、处理情况等于以公布。这种将违法者曝光以儆效尤的做法至少带来两个问题值得思考:一是公安交警部门有无权力通过新闻媒体公布一个人的违法记录?二是新闻媒体有无权力公布一个人的违法记录?
