一般的冲天爐經过8～12小时的熔化后,熔化带和氧化带的爐衬就被侵蝕,如果再繼續熔化,爐壁就有被烧穿的危险。所以一般的冲天爐最多只能連续熔化16个小时。在生产不断跃进的情况下,一般的冲天爐显然不能满足生产的要求,采用水冷冲天爐来延长連續熔化时间是一种有效的办法,但至今仍然有不少工厂怕采用水冷冲天爐后会影响铁水温度,怕出事故,以至一直不敢采用这一先进经验。现在把沈阳第一机床厂,上海锅爐厂使用水冷冲天爐的经驗介紹如下,做为各厂学习推广这一經验的参考。
