略读课文是小学语文教材的重要组成部分。以人教版为例,从三到六年级共有略读课文98篇,涵盖的面也很广,内容上看有写景、状物、叙事、写人的,体裁上看有记叙文、说明文、议论文。在每个单元组教材的安排上,一般由两篇精读课文和两篇略读课文组成。如果说精读课文是阅读教学的基础,那么略读课文就是阅读教学的延伸;如果说精读课文需要在老师指导下学生进行学习,那么略读课文则应该大胆放手让学生自主学习。而先学后教能够有效地促进学生的自学能力,达到学习方法的有效迁移,阅读能力的有效提高。
