食盐分“海盐”和“矿盐”两种。海盐,颗粒很大,略带土色。在很多人印象中,海盐一定含有高浓度的碘,但实际上,海盐在制作过程中碘都挥发了,含碘量并不高。顺带说一句,海产品中含碘最高的食物是海带、紫菜等海中植物。由于海盐并不含碘,人吃了后会得大脖子病,已经被禁。现在国家强制性地在食盐中加碘,就是为了预防甲状腺肿,若是患上此病不仅有个难看的大脖子,还会弱智。
