The middle section of Yan’an Viaduct project is the Viaduct Inner Ring Road in the west and the north-south elevated viaduct in the east with a total length of 5.56 kilometers. It is a two-way six-lane roadway with eight lanes from Changde Road to Shaanxi Province and a designed speed of 60 kilometers per hour. The ground road is eight lanes and the design speed is 40 kilometers per hour. Upon completion, the Inner Ring Elevated, North-South Elevated, Yandong Elevated and Yanxi Elevated will be integrated into the final group of Shanghai elevated road system
