当前,素质教育被作为一项基本的教育国策在众多学校广泛开展。从素质教育的侧重点看,就是要让学生德智体美全面发展,它又往往被偏重于中小学和艺术专业的专业院校。在所有的非艺术类中专(职)学校中。审美教育几乎一片空白,成了被人们遗忘的角落。长期以来沿袭的注重技能培训和专业教学的模式也没有随着素质教育的呼声而改变。我们不能不对非艺术类中专(职)学校的现行的教学模式提出质疑。加强在非艺术类中专(职)学校的素质教育中的音乐素质教育迫在眉睫,具有必要性和紧迫性,原因如下:
