U.S. Landsat 4 is about to launch. A new space-based remote sensing instrument-Thematic Mapper (TM), previously described as a thematic mapping tool, was loaded on Landsat 4 and will carry out remote sensing of the Earth’s resources for surveying and mapping various thematic maps task.
