In order to improve the firing accuracy of mortars and shorten the shooting preparation time, a dedicated hand-held computer was developed by the space and defense system subsidiary of Marconi. It can be used for the calculation of mortar shooting data, called “Mocos.” Mocos is a self-contained or self-contained device that includes: computers, keyboards for data entry, displays and batteries. The case is made of durable plastic and is hand-held in contour design. To meet military requirements, the device is water-resistant and can withstand the use of combat conditions. It can provide firing units for two firing units, speeding up the transfer of shots, and not requiring much longer preparation time, as was the case with manual computing units in the past.
