通过 1 996~ 1 999年研究与实践 ,打破常规 ,开拓思路 ,在棉花品种、密度、栽培等方面进一步优化组合 ,高密度植棉理论密度为 1 .5万~ 2 .1万株 /666.7m2 (即 1亩 ,下同 ) ,采用中棉 2 4等株型相对紧凑的中早熟品种 ,在确保全苗的基础上 ,加强系统调控 ,科学运筹水肥、化调和整枝技术 ,协调好棉花群体与个体 ,营养生长与生殖生长的矛盾 ,株高控制在 60~ 65cm,单株结铃 4 .5~ 5.0个 ,单铃重 5g左右 ,衣分 3 8%~ 4 0 %,666.7m2皮棉产量可达 1 50~ 2 0 0 kg。在现有生产水平和条件下 ,高密度栽培方式以密取胜 ,对不容易依靠单株结铃抓产量的中低产田是一条提高单产的有效捷径 ;是克服土壤肥力和气候等制约因素 ,促进低产变中产 ,中产变高产 ,从而实现棉花大面积均衡增产的重要突破口 ;同时 ,高密度栽培为南疆棉区推广中早熟品种夺高产创造了条件 ,使棉花“矮、密、早、膜、匀”技术进一步延伸和突破
