西方的现代企业管理也不是见物不见人,企业管理并没有进入所谓的以决策理论、系统科学和定量分析为中心的现代阶段,而是更重视人的因素,强调以人为本、以人为核心。孔子“己所不欲,勿施于人”和“己欲立而立人,己欲达而达人”的仁爱思想反映了儒家对人的本性的理解,它是源于人的血缘亲情形成的一种内心感情和自觉的道德意识,以此推及社会人群,就是人际伦理关系的道德准则,其本质就是爱人、关心人、尊重人。
