南戏遗踪高腔本《孟姜女》在浙江已发现有调腔本与醒感戏本两种。有关调腔本《孟姜女》的情况,本人已写有《南戏遗踪〈孟姜女〉考略》一文。本文则介绍醒感戏本《孟姜女》(又名《撼城殇》)的特征及其流传的原因。
