最近Salisova等人~([1])报道了以冠醚为相转移催化剂,四氢呋喃作溶剂,在氢氧化钾的作用下合成二茂铁及其衍生物的工作。但由于冠醚具有毒性,又不易制得,因而限制了对它的使用。Jolly~([2])使用了1,2-二甲氧基乙烷作溶剂,在氢氧化钾的作用下,由几个溶剂分子包周着金属离子,起着类似于冠醚的作用。因此该方法必须使用1,2-二甲氧基乙烷作溶剂,且不能以其他的溶剂代替。1,2-二甲氧基乙烷既作溶剂,又可起到相转移催化剂的作用。若与其他的方法比较~([3]),优越性就更加明显。原料不需要绝对无水的条件,可以直接使用市售的水合二氯化铁。
Recently, Salisova et al. ([1]) reported the synthesis of ferrocene and its derivatives under the action of potassium hydroxide using crown ether as the phase transfer catalyst and tetrahydrofuran as the solvent. However, due to the crown ether is toxic, but also not easy to obtain, thus limiting the use of it. Jolly ~ ([2]) uses 1,2-dimethoxyethane as a solvent, which is surrounded by metal ions by several solvent molecules under the action of potassium hydroxide and acts like a crown ether. Therefore, this method must use 1,2-dimethoxyethane as a solvent, and can not be replaced with other solvents. 1,2-dimethoxyethane both as a solvent, but also play the role of phase transfer catalyst. If compared with other methods ~ ([3]), the superiority is even more obvious. Raw materials do not require absolute anhydrous conditions, can be directly used commercially available ferric chloride.
