Robert Frost, one of the most beloved American poets, won four Pulitzer Prizes and many other rewards and honors known as the “Laureate Poet in American Literature” . He portrays the ethos of the quiet countryside of New England in a popular language, well-known rhythms, parables and symbolism commonplace in everyday life. His poems often appear associated with loneliness, despair, death and other images such as winter, snow, ice, frost, dead leaves and so on. Although a considerable part of his poems describe fear and misgivings, the general tendency is still positive.
