This article analyzed the nuclear magnetic resonance (MR) characteristics of 28 primary and metastatic liver tumors and compared them with CT. Nuclear magnetic resonance images were obtained using various spin echo and in-verslon recovery imaging techniques on a superconducting magnet with a magnetic field strength of 0.35 Tesia. Normal liver shows a homogeneous and medium density. The tumor showed a density increase in the spin echo imaging, and decreased density in the reverse reflex imaging.
