Introduction There is a gap between image display and computer-based data acquisition. Recently, some low-cost systems that use mass spectrometry have been described. The combination of GCMS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) still depends on the image display for the data acquisition or on the computer based system. The main requirements for GCMS work: 1. To have a complete chromatography bee. 2. Automated mass spectrometry starts just before the conversion of the chromatographic peak. Mass spectrometry is normalized to the sum of instantaneous ion currents. 4. Measure the height of the material peak. 5. More treatment is recorded in the form of data results. This basic system includes a digital integrator, a mass spectrum trigger, a normalization and measurement circuit for material peaks and a digital
