为了说明分子结构和它的反应性能之间的关系,在本世纪初发展起来的有机电子理论认为分子中不直接相连的原子或原子团之间的相互影响可以通过两种方式进行传递,即诱导和共轭。因此,在讨论取代基对于某一反应中心的影响时,一般用诱导效应或共轭效应来作解释。但是,随着理论有机化学的发展,近年来出版的一些基础有机化学教科书在介绍σ-键传递的诱导效应的同时,又引进了场效应的概念,也叫做空间诱导效应
To explain the relationship between the molecular structure and its reaction properties, the organic electron theory developed at the beginning of this century suggests that the interaction between atoms or atomic groups that are not directly linked in a molecule can be transmitted in two ways, namely, induction and Conjugation. Therefore, when discussing the effect of substituents on a certain reaction center, it is generally explained by the induction effect or the conjugation effect. However, with the development of theoretical organic chemistry, some basic organic chemistry textbooks published in recent years are introducing the inductive effect of σ-bond transfer, while introducing the concept of field effect, also known as the spatial induction effect.
