20世纪年90年代后期,随着家用小型摄像机的发展,一夜之间,中国大陆出现了一大批看起来焕发生机、描述现实的影像作品。青年们怀着各种各样的热情或者其他目的投身于独立影像制作的热潮中,大家迷恋于非体制方式的制作,这场独立制作的狂欢既不来自于上层的改革,也没有受到某个特殊社会或文化事件的直接推动。这一场独立制作的狂欢在多年后的今天仿佛就是海市蜃楼般的幻影。
In the late 1990s and early 1990s, with the development of home-based mini-cameras, overnight there appeared a large number of video works that appeared to be full of vitality and describing reality. With all sorts of enthusiasm or other purposes, young people are engaged in the upsurge of independent video production. Everyone is infatuated with the non-institutional production. This independent production of carnival neither comes from the reform at the upper level nor is it influenced by any Direct promotion of special social or cultural events. This independent production of carnival today seems to be a mirage-like illusion many years later.
