According to the request of Premier Zhao Ziyang to carry out the national examination for enterprise management and factory (mining) leaders, the Ministry of Coal commissioned the Shandong Mining Institute to provide guidance and training to managers and directors of large and medium-sized construction companies in the coal system and passed the national unified examination. From May to July 1984, we organized the first manager and the director’s unified examination and counseling class. A total of 59 students attended the school and 55 of them actually participated in the joint examination. There are two unified examination subjects, that is, the basis of our country’s socialist economic construction since the Third Plenary Session.
