In recent years it has been shown that in oil and gas producing areas, electrical prospecting can obtain useful information about deep geological formations. These methods are particularly effective in the northwestern Pacific covered by volcanic rocks because of the geological conditions that have caused the seismic reflection of high resolution reflections.
