本文运用2000—2005年中国工业企业数据库和海关数据库数据,从企业层面分析了进口和农产品加工企业经营表现的因果关系。结果表明:生产率高和财务状况好的企业会自我选择进入进口市场,而且这一行为与企业的产出规模无关;而进口并不能显著提高企业的生产率、改善企业的财务状况以及扩大企业的产出规模。结论为我们深入理解进口和农产品加工企业经营表现提供了中国经验。
Based on the data of China’s industrial enterprises and customs databases from 2000 to 2005, this paper analyzes the causal relationship between the performance of import and agricultural products processing enterprises from the enterprise level. The results show that: high productivity and good financial position of enterprises will choose their own import market, and this behavior has nothing to do with the scale of output; and the import does not significantly improve the productivity of enterprises to improve the financial status of enterprises and expand their production Out of scale. Conclusions provide China experience in our in-depth understanding of the operating performance of import and agri-processing enterprises.
