Adhesive tower cranes often use reinforced concrete cast-in-place foundations, and generally have the following two methods: 1 When the soil quality is good, the foundation is buried shallow, and often it is designed as 4 independent pillar foundations. In order to prevent uneven subsidence, cross steel is used. The truss beam is integrally cast with the column base. 2 When the soil quality is poor, the foundation should be dug deeply. It is often designed as a foundation of four independent frame columns, and the steel beams are connected horizontally to form a whole. Although these two types of cast-in-place foundations are reliable, they cannot be moved and reused when the tower crane is moved to a new construction site because a large amount of earthworms and steel are buried in the earth, causing waste. Recently, Japan has used a coarse sand cushion steel plate foundation for self-erecting cranes to achieve better economic results. We applied this method to the foundation of an attached tower crane (Fig. 1) to solve the problem.
