执教小学美术,我们都了解儿童创作是自由的、自主的,其思维方式不同于成人,内容能反映出他们的喜、怒、哀、乐,纵观儿童美术作品,其表现形式的自由是我们成人所达不到的。但是,我们在教学实践中往往碰到很多儿童进入小学后,由于各方面的影响,学生形成了思维想象上的惰性,对于简单的问题尚能解决,遇到难题就不想动脑筋,遇到可模仿或可照搬的东西,会不假思索地加以利用,这种情况在美术课中最为常见,对学生想象思维的开发极为不利。
