长绿飞虱Saccharosydne proceruss(Matsumura)是为害茭白的一种主要害虫,在上海一年发生四代,世代重叠,主要以第二代成虫、若虫在7、8月份为害栽培茭白,以秋菱尤重。它以三级黄斑期的滞育卵在茭白残株组织内越冬,滞育卵表面被有一薄层蜡白色六角形的蜡质花纹。滞育期长达5个月左右。试验观察表明长绿飞虱是仅为害茭白的单食性害虫。成、若虫群集茭白嫩叶取食为害。成虫有趋光性。雌虫产卵量以饲料较嫩的越冬代、第一代高于第二、第三代,达300粒以上。该虫发育的最适气温为24—28℃。平均气温超过30℃、最高气温超过35℃,发育繁殖受影响。先寄生后捕食长绿飞虱卵的无后缘姬小蜂科了Tetrastichidae的一种蜂(待定名)为天敌优势种,对越冬代卵的杀伤率为54.4~77.4%,防治试验明确了乙酰甲胺磷为有效的药剂;压前控后是有效的防治对策。
