在小麦的近缘种属中,存在着巨大的基因资源有待开发。其中人类利用较多的物种如天蓝偃麦草对三锈免疫、高抗黄矮病并且抗逆性较强;而簇毛麦则对白粉病免疫、抗全蚀病、蛋白质含量高。因此利用小麦、天蓝偃麦草及簇毛麦进行三属间杂交,可以把这两个野生种的有利基因导入到普通小麦中去。目前.国内外已经获得了十余种不同类型的小麦与其近缘种属的三属杂种。Fernandez在小麦-黑麦-大麦三属杂种的后代中选出带有大麦及黑麦染色体的异附加系,Ortiz则在小麦-偃麦草-山羊草的三属杂种后代中进行相互易位的筛选,但小麦-偃麦草-簇毛麦三属间杂交的研究前人尚未做过,现初步报道如下。
