激励是协调组织成员个人动机与组织目标之间的关系,激发、鼓励、保持与强化有利于实现组织目标的个人动机,调动组织成员工作行为积极性的过程。正确实施激励对于提高人们的工作积极性具有重要作用。激励手段实施失当,也会给组织目标的实现带来不利。近年来,一些单位在实施激励手段中出现的偏差主要有以下几种情况。1.唯物质化倾向。有些领导认为只有不断满足个人的物质需要,才能调动其积极性,才能取得成绩。这样做不仅没有真正起到激励的作用,反而造成商品化的现象。
