高迁移率族蛋白1(HMGB1)是一种存在于真核细胞核内的非组蛋白,其参与细胞核内与染色体DNA相关的多种生物活动,并为DNA提供保护.在某些特殊状态下,如炎症及细胞坏死,HMGB1可进入细胞质内或者细胞外,作为非特异性炎性因子或预警蛋白,在全身多种炎症及自身免疫性疾病中发挥重要作用.慢性牙周炎是机体最常见的炎症性疾病之一,而HMGB1在慢性牙周炎患者的牙周组织中表达量升高,并可导致牙周组织破坏.因此,HMGB1可能成为慢性牙周炎患者药物治疗的新靶点.“,”High mobility group protein 1(HMGB1), a nonhistones found in nuclei of eukaryotic cells ,is involved in many nuclear DNA related biological activities and provides protection for DNA .In some specific conditions such as inflam-mation and cell necrosis ,HMGB1 may enter the cytoplasm or outside of the cell as a nonspecific inflammatory factor or early warning protein to play an important role in multiple systemic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases .Chronic periodontitis is one of the most common inflammatory diseases in the body ,and HMGB1 expression in periodontal tissue of patients with chronic periodontitis is increased ,and can lead to periodontal tissue destruction .Therefore the study of HMGB1 is expected to provide a new target for the precise treatment of chronic periodontitis .
