钒钛铁矿的高炉冶炼,由于矿石中含有大量钛的氧化物,这就引起冶炼过程中出现一些用普通矿所没有的特殊问题,主要是含钛炉渣的变稠及由此引起的各种现象。为此,钒钛矿冶炼的基本问题,是如何解决渣铁畅流,只有在渣铁畅流的基础上其他问题才能得到解决。经过长期不懈的辛勤工作,对钒钛矿的高炉冶炼已揭示其基本冶炼规律,即“低硅钛,活跃的炉缸和适宜的炉渣碱度”这套科学的操作方法。
